We can't truly know in advance how a difficult situation will affect our lives or the lives of those we love. Persistent searching for the "right steps" to take or the "right time" to take them can tempt us to judge "success" or "failure" by the results of our efforts. We learn in that after careful consideration we take the action and let go of the results. If we make a decision and then act on that decision, we have succeeded whether the results are disappointing or encouraging. Regardless of the outcome, we have done our part The result is up to God
